ELEMENTARY DEBATE COURSES (SUMMER)
Intro to Elementary Speech & Debate​
This camp is the perfect entry point for any elementary school student looking to explore the fascinating world of speech and debate. Students will gain exposure to all the major pillars of debate education: public speaking, argumentation, logic, critical reasoning, oratory, prepared and spontaneous speeches, and persuasive writing. In this class, we aspire to get kids excited and comfortable with public speaking, develop familiarity with organized argumentation, and have a lot of fun learning about all kinds of interesting kid friendly topics. ​

Elementary Debate for Experienced Students​
This camp is for experienced elementary debate students looking to take their skills to the next level. In this camp, students will learn new content and new techniques to elevate their skills. In this camp, we will get more granular and start to fine tune each aspect of a students debate technique, add layers and depth to their speaking style, and teach students advanced skills for finding success in elementary speech and debate competition. ​

Elementary Congressional & Parliamentary Debate​
Elementary students will learn two important debate formats: Congressional debate and Parliamentary debate. Students will enjoy pretending to be Senators or members of various legislative bodies debating interesting bills and proposals. Students will learn how to deliver a persuasive advocacy speech, ask and answer cross-examination questions, conduct research, deliver rebuttals and closing arguments, and everything in-between to become successful in these two formats. Topics will be elementary-friendly and cater to their grade levels.

Elementary: Speech, Speech, Speech!
In this camp, students will learn the art of speech. Students will learn several speech formats: spontaneous speeches like impromptu and extemporaneous; prepared speeches like expository and original oratory; interpretative speeches that leverage dramatic styles with traditional speechwriting; and social speaking styles like toast-making and storytelling. This camp is an absolute must to help round-out one’s speech and debate experience. ​​
MIDDLE SCHOOL DEBATE COURSES (SUMMER)
Middle School: Beginner Speech and Debate
This course is for middle school students who are beginning their speech and debate journey. Students will learn all about the major speech and debate events. Key topics include: public speaking, logic, argumentation strategy, rebuttals, critical thinking models, prepared and spontaneous speeches, interpretive speeches, rhetoric, oratory, ethics, technical debate, public policy basics, constitutional theory, theories of justice, democratic theory, technical writing, case preparation, closing arguments, cross examination, and more! ​

Middle School: Experienced Speech and Debate
Students will learn key skills and content to elevate their skills to the next level. Students will learn: Advanced framework argumentation (value, value criterion), mastery of the contention model, how to defend and refute popular frameworks, advanced refutation, argument analysis of advanced cases, strategies that maximize persuasive appeal in front of parent judges, etc.

Middle School: Parliamentary Debate
In this camp, students will deep dive into the exciting world of Parliamentary Debate. Parliamentary (or Parli, for short) is the most popular and oldest form of debate in the world. It is a team-based event in which the topic changes every single round. Students will learn the nuts and bolts of a wide array of current events and policy debates, how to research and prepare on any issue within a limited amount of time, how to deliver a persuasive speech with only a limited scattering of notes, how to apply frameworks to any kind of policy/fact/value based topic, and all kinds of techniques and strategies to find success in Parli debate. Parli debate is without a doubt one of the most important and fun formats in the debate world.  


Middle School: Congressional Debate
Students will learn Congressional debate. Students will enjoy pretending to be Senators or members of various legislative bodies debating interesting bills and proposals. In this camp, students will deep dive into the both the exciting world of Parliamentary Debate and Congressional Debate. Students will learn advanced casing strategies, advanced refutation techniques, theory debate, critical argumentation, unconventional frameworks, advanced word economy techniques, advanced philosophy, DA argumentation, role of the ballot argumentation, and judge adaptation strategies.

Middle School: New LD Topic Jumpstart Prep Session
Beginner students will receive a significant jumpstart on the new topic, learn affirmative and negative case positions, develop blocks, learn theory-related arguments for the new topic, develop multiple cases for both sides of the new topic, learn key research areas, and receive a semester's worth of preparation in just a single week. This is the session to enroll in to jumpstart the Fall semester and be tournament ready before the school year even begins.  
HIGH SCHOOL DEBATE COURSES (SUMMER)
