ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CAMPS:
(Camps can be taken in any order -  there is no sequence, they are all independent of one another. Register for as many camps as you would like;)

Public Speaking Fundamentals: 

  • Overview: The Public Speaking Fundamentals camp is designed for elementary students eager to learn the fundamentals of public speaking. This dynamic program delves into the essential skills needed to become a confident and compelling speaker. Participants will explore a range of techniques from voice projection and volume control to the effective organization of their speeches. Our curriculum covers crucial aspects such as annunciation, verbal clarity, tonal variety, and the art of persuasion using logos, ethos, and pathos. Students will also learn to eliminate verbal static, refine their hand gestures, and adopt power stances to enhance their physical presence. With a focus on controlling the room, outlining speeches, and mastering cadence and rhythm, this camp promises a transformative experience for young speakers, setting a strong foundation for their public speaking journey.
  • Where: Offered in our Cupertino/West San Jose Location
  • Duration and Times: One-week camp; Monday through Friday; 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm (depending on the week)

Elementary Debate:
  • Overview: Elementary debate teaches students the fundamentals of debate. Students will learn the various Elementary debate formats: SPAR debate and Congressional debate. They will learn all about logic, argumentation, persuasive writing, debate structure, reasoning, cross-examination, closings, rebuttal techniques and various persuasion styles. Students can expect to enjoy a lot of practice debates. 
  • Where: Offered in our Cupertino/West San Jose location; Offered in our Dublin/Pleasanton location
  • Duration and Times: One-week camp; Monday through Friday; 9am-12pm or 1pm 4pm (Depending on Week) 
  • Cost: $525 per camp session

Elementary Speech:
  • Overview: Elementary Speech teaches students the fundamentals related to speech. Students will learn various Elementary speech formats like Impromptu speaking, Oratory speaking, Declamation speaking, Storytelling, and more. Students will hone in on key communication pillars like: speech organization, volume control, projection, tonal variety, cadence and rhythm, diction, hand gestures, emoting, and more. 
  • Where: Offered in our Cupertino/West San Jose location; Offered in our Dublin/Pleasanton location
  • Duration and Times: One-week camp; Monday through Friday; 9am-12pm or 1pm 4pm (Depending on Week) 
  • Cost: $525 per camp session
